Good

Good location, large and clean room, access to beach is right across the street. Good for a few nights stay, would not stay longer.

There was an electric kettle & cups, but not tea/coffee, so you need to buy it yourself.

Very Good

Excellent location close to shops/cafes with beach just across the road. Very large room with balcony with good view plus good swimming pool . Staff very helpful and friendly. Good value for money as room could accommodate 4 people.9

Only criticism was wifi kept cutting out in room. Was better down in main entrance.

Great value for money

Great location, price and friendly staff. Good water pressure, quiet AC.

I can imagine it being noisy from the pub almost next door to the hotel, if u live on the bottom floor or closer to the reception.

For

Good value for money! I had a big spacious room - ( payed extra 100 bath a day for a room on the quiet side) - had view to the village and jungle. Its very clean and very friendly staff. It is walking distance to the beach and many good restaurants.

Very Good

This Hotel ist run by different Familys. Everybody is very nice. You can always ask If you need anything and they will help you organize it. Cross the street and you have access top the beach. Nice Pool area with big pool, rooms have a good size and balcony. Good Rates for what you get. Stayed here twice and will stay there again!

The rooms are big and very clean. Personell and owner are fantastic people. We got 50% of our payment back because of the swimmingpool problem. We've spent 3 days on Alina this year. Third day the pool was almost ready for use. Hotel is 50 meters from the beach. Great location!

Due to a sudden algeaproblem the swimmingpool was green. We couldn't use the pool. We spent our days swimming in the sea. Awesome weather.

Friendly and (mostly) helpful staff!

Desperate need of renovation. View towards beautiful mountains and not so beautiful construction site. No working lights on balcony, no repair even after promised to fix. Two double beds, but seating for only two on balcony and one in room.

Good location, you just have to cross the street to get to the beach, large room with aircon and your personal fridge, nice pool, children loved it. Didn't try the breakfast though.

They've got free Wi-Fi (with decent connection speed) available throught the hotel, but the "connection" was too poor to make the hotel payment with credit card. I understand the cash preference, but the excuse seemed a bit lame. :)

Good size modern family room with air conditioning and a balcony, in a convenient location. Close to the beach but with the added bonus of a good sized pool with towels provided. Fantastic value for money, very clean and polite, helpful staff

Place is very near of everything - the white sand beach, restaurants, shops and nightmarket. If you ask, they clean your room. Stuff are very helpfull. Price was very good for 5-member family.

Our room was full of little ants and the water in pool wasnt bright.

The hotel was ok,it looked better than it really was.

The bedroom aircon was not good,the shower hose was not fitted right and we did thr staff but nothing was done,not enough hangers and did not havd toom to really put many clothes

What was the highlight of Alina Grande Hotel & Resort

Hotel is a 3-store building that stands across the road from the very beginning of White Sands beach. It is like 20 meters away only, really close. Location is good, there are lots of cafes nearby and 2 supermarkets, including the big Macro store. We did not try breakfast (100 baht per person), using fruits and yogurt from the supermarket as treat. Facilities are nice - all you basically need at a beach resort, though nothing special. Rooms are clean, maintained upon request. AC, fridge, water heater functioned with no issues. Wi-Fi worked just well for me. Needless to say the hotel is fantastic value for money.

It was a bit uncomfortable not to have a separate area on the beach, but we got away with renting sunbeds from other hotels on the seashore. My husband complained of endless issues with Wi-Fi, so that is possible for some devices The type of room we chose was on 1st floor only and it was in fact noisy - there was always operational noise from the swimming pool and I guess ventilation system. The other side of the building is turned to Monkey restaurant, so rooms turned there received their part of the party noises in the evening. But even with all this we slept well every night.
